Report of PROS Seminar (May 22, 2023)

PROS Seminar organized by the division of Molecular Parasitology was held on Monday, May 22. Prof. John H. Adams, Center for Global Health and Infectious Diseases Research, University of South Florida, gave a lecture on “Functional genomics screens of Plasmodium falciparum and Plasmodium knowlesi as an approach to decipher biological processes essential for parasite survival”.

He gave a detailed explanation of a comprehensive genetic screening method for Plasmodium falciparum using the PiggyBac transposon system, which was followed by a lively Q&A session.
