Research Objectives

Autoinflammatory and autoimmune disorders are rare disease, most of which are specified as The Ministry of Health Research Project for the Treatment of Special Chronic Diseases. In spite of development of biological and immunological studies, those etiologies are not yet fully elucidated. Recently, autoinflammatory disorders are suggested to be caused by dysregulation of innate immune signaling, and autoimmune disorders are suggested to be caused by combined genome polymorphism.

Our goal is understand the pathogenesis of autoinflammatory disorders, autoimmune disorders, and related-metabolic syndromes using animal model and proteome analysis, and define novel targets for treatment of these diseases.
