Division of Bio-Imaging

Research Objectives

In order to establish an innovative in vivo fluorescent imaging and optical manipulation in biology as well as medical field, we will develop a novel fluorescent microscopy. We will improve tissue penetration depth and spatial resolution in living animals by using the innovative microscopy in conjunction with appropriate fluorescent probes for molecules and cells.

In addition, we will develop a non-linear optical microscopy for non-label in vivo imaging.
